What we do and why we do it

The Japanese Women’s Empowerment Forum is designed to highlight successful women in various fields and to hear their life stories, their achievements, and their hopes for the future. It is our hope that their ideas, values, principles and goals will empower other women. A second aim is to connect the listeners to the speakers and to develop relationships through worthwhile projects, assignments, tasks, and even informal / formal  internships.  The forum is to be shared with other universities which will hopefully sponsor more speakers in the fall, winter and spring of next year 2022.
